Premium Plus interior lite vs Prestige interior light
Hullo all, first post here! Used to own a B6, been driving that for xi years. Now I'm in the market to get a B9!
Quick question.
Anyone take any details on the departure between the interior ambient LED lights for premium plus vs prestige?
I Absolutely cannot observe any detail on this on the audi website. Seriously, the Audi USA website has Nada details on the options/packages available. We are at the mercy of their acronyms making sense.
Enough of the rant. And then, does anyone know the departure? Can I even so alter the LED low-cal colors in a premium plus? Or is that merely for a prestige model?

The P+ states "Ambience LED interior lighting", whereas the Prestige states "Ambient LED interior lighting plus parcel", which leads me to believe they are NOT the aforementioned. I would imaging the "plus package" give you the illuminated loving cup holders, color changing lighting, etc.

I like it. Nice and fancy. I wish my new S5 had it. Color changing interior lights and dash lights is nothing new. They're available in a lot of Japanese brand cars sold in Asia since ii to three years ago.

Thanks all! I judge the Audi Canada website is ameliorate than the U.s.a. one, much like everything else in that country is ameliorate than USA.
Follow up question, does the Premium Plus interior lighting allow colour changing? I saturday in a B9 the other mean solar day, and the lite was ruby...Is it stuck every bit red forever?

Since these cars are nevertheless so new to the market place, I think your best bet is to endeavour it out for yourself at the dealer.

Then, I bought a B9 premium plus (not enough prestige difference to justify) and Audis website says that the lighting plus parcel has an extra LED strip and is color customizable. But mine has that extra led strip in the trim that the prestige has but just lights up red when you turn the auto on or have a vehicle approaching in go out assist only it is there and will be interesting to run across if this is just an easy coding play a trick on to activate the Plus part of the lighting bundle.

In the Premium Q7 there are no ambience lighting LED strips on the interior trim. In the Premium Plus there are. They are red initially and then change to white. Merely the effulgence can exist adjusted. In the Prestige the LED's color tin can be adjusted. I'm hoping that the LED's and controller are the same between the Premium Plus the Prestige and that someone figure's out how to exercise information technology through the subconscious menu.

Can't wait for coding on these.
UPDATE: But looked under the footwell and all 4 accept LED lights that don't turn on so the only difference in lighting components with the Prestige is the door pocket.

Interested in finding out when someone gets a code to activate this feature on the Premium Plus. Don't care to spend all the extra money for the Prestige simply so I can change the ambient interior colour, when I tin can simply hook up a VAGCOM

Just wondering if anyone has any news on this.
The white light is nearly probable all 3 RGB colors lit at once. In that location's no way Audi ordered divide white-only LEDs but for the P+. As long equally the color-changing controller is physically intact, a software tweak would be possible.

Only Prestige has different color ambient lights that will illuminate cup holders, door trims, human foot. Premium plus does not come with that option on the MMI and does not have lights on the door panels.

On my prestige, there are lights in all the places. Those can be individually adjusted (i.e. console, footwell) by color and brightness. In that location are also pre-ready color schemes (i.e. Maritime blue) if y'all don't care to customize them further. If you want, I can cheque which individual options at nighttime and let you know.

Does the VC autodim for night, or do you have to adjust it? Can it be adjusted further? Yet seems a bit vivid for dark driving.

I'm Canadian living in the U.s.a.. I lived in a few provinces in Canada before, and health care MIGHT suck, depending on the province. Non sure where you lot live in Canada.
Nova Scotia was fine, my mom's centre surgery was promptly scheduled, everything went perfectly, etc. Everything else there might suck, just not the medical intendance.
Just we had no luck with the health care organization in British Columbia, my dad had gout and in his feet, was repeatedly misdiagnosed past both UCB Infirmary and Vancouver General Hospital. More then four doctors and a specialist couldn't figure information technology out, even after a CT scan and multiple 10-rays. We were neglected, lines were hours longs, given wrong medications (antibiotics) for weeks, etc. In the end, near 2 months later, he had to go to Seattle for care, took an hr to figure information technology out, gave him proper diagnostic, medication, he was better the adjacent day. We were lucky it was not something life threatening and that he could afford private care somewhere else. Doctors in Seattle told us gout is one of the simplest diagnostics there is and could not understand how the BC doctors repeatedly misdiagnosed. Never trusted the BC medical system again. It was so bad a lawyer recommended a malpractice lawsuit, only my dad hates lawyers and never went through with information technology. Take a few other bad stories about information technology too, but that's the principal one.
Also its non 'gratuitous' in BC, its like forced insurance (kinda similar it is in the US). At the end of each twelvemonth, they transport us a bill unless y'all're depression income. Tin can't call up the verbal amount, but it was effectually $1,000. Information technology's less than what I pay for insurance in the U.s.a., but the bespeak is, it's non gratis like near people say. I also rather pay more than for better care in the US anyways.

I'm in BC... non certain how long agone your feel was from... and I accept heard of problems in the past.... merely my experiences take been good. (Knock on wood). Wellness premiums in BC (MSP) are paid by the person and not the employer (like in Ontario). It costs $75 per month if you have a net income higher than $33000 per year (later on deductions)... if you brand less than that information technology's subsidized further. Free to those under 18 and those making less than $24000 per yr. Yous do not pay to visit a physician, get to hospital or to a walk-in dispensary. If you qualify for the full subsidy (low income)... you likewise become gratuitous chiropractor, physiotherapy and massages. If you brand more... there are some pay per usage fees for the chiropractic, etc. I'grand not saying that it'south perfect.... far from it... and isolated problems do occur... and information technology'south absolutely terrible when they do. You cannot sue the doctor.... unless in that location was malicious intent but your dad certainly could and should take to the health board and discuss with his local MLA. Gout is a very elementary diagnosis.... my dad has information technology. No excuse for that.

The LED strips are the same in the Prestige and Premium Plus, BUT Audi didn't install the wiring to enable the other colors in the Premium Plus.

And so i have a premium base model 2020, i only have the basic white lights. I went ahead and social club the after market ambient low-cal, the ane that encounter the dashboard. The wiring harness is supposed to piggyback on the footwell light which is a ii-pin connector. Unfortunately, the wire harness (splitter wire) that came with the led strip is dissimilar and is a 4 Pin connector , obviously for the RGB feature. Do i demand to change my harness to make it fit to my connector?
Now i am confused, do the P+ and Prestige footwell calorie-free connector is unlike than the base of operations premium model? I know they changed the connector from the B8 to the B9.
This is what my connector looks like for my footwell light (new version):
And this i is the wire splitter harness that I need to piggy back on an existing connection on the car:
For the people who own a P+ or PP, which connector do you lot have for your human foot low-cal?
